Microfluidic Concentration Sensor
The analog between ions in electrolytes and carriers in semiconductors can be tracked from Shockley's famous Noble speech about sixty years ago. By comparing the ions in electrolytes and carriers in semiconductors we can build a similar model for ions transportation, and the transportation represent a crucial link between microfluid and electronic systems. In this way, we can establish a new communication interface to bridge the gap between electronic circuits and fluidic or biological system.
